Finding Balance, Cultivating Resilience
Full Programs, Individual Sessions available.
Do you view your body as the mechanism to haul your brain from meeting to meeting or place to place. Are you caught off guard when you have emotional outbursts? Do you feel unfulfilled, unconnected and out of touch with your loved ones and personal pursuits? Have you lost your internal compass and don’t know how to reconnect to yourself or your passions?
Balance and wellness are often tossed to the side—we push through, try harder. We think that we should be able to be more efficient and get more done. But there is an enormous toll we pay from ignoring our well-being and our bodies that actually makes you less efficient, more irritable and eventually causes burn out or illness.
Many people ignore self-care because they think they don’t have time, but the amazing and surprising thing is that 1) you can gain back the time spent on self-care in efficiency and mental sharpness, and 2) renewal and self-care it can be quick but powerful.
In Balance and Sustainability coaching, I teach you strategies for balanced purposeful living and help you notice what gets in the way of this basic commitment to yourself and your well-being. Through the practices I teach you, you’ll gain the ability to be more present for your life and those around you.

Embodying Resilience: How to Apply Feldenkrais Principles to Life
Experiential workshop, co-taught with Cliff Smyth
Many people have observed how the principles of the Feldenkrais Method apply to movement but are not sure how to apply them to life in practical, concrete ways. In this workshop, we will look at how to apply Awareness Through Movement Lessons directly to life to build resilience and practical life skills. We'll also weave in coaching processes as a potent way to discover and sense the story of resilience in your own life.
Cliff Smyth has been practicing the Feldenkrais Method for eighteen years - helping people discover more comfortable and effective action in their lives. He has completed the SFSU Core Strengths Coaching program and draws of the new field of positive psychology for his coaching practice. He practices mindfulness meditation and Yoga Nidra. Qigong and Feldenkrais Classes and Sessions
Weekly Classes and Private Sessions Available.
Qigong is a Chinese self-healing method that connects us more deeply to the natural flow of energy around us, known as Qi or life force. It is a method of health maintenance, a means to enhance artistic creativity, and a path to spiritual growth.
Sarah teaches a form of medical Qigong for self-regulation and self-healing—the benefits of which can be experienced by everyone even after a short period of practice. By practicing, you can feel young and healthy, improve your mental, athletic and artistic abilities and even cure yourself from illness.
Sarah combines her 7 years of Qigong study, her work as a Feldenkrais practitioner and Somatic Coach to directly address the link between body, posture, emotions and health.
Explore the various aspects of Qigong:
- Meditation and Centering
- Self-Healing
